A reflexology mat is a firm surface covered in raised stones or nodes that press into the soles of your feet while you stand or walk in place. The idea goes back to the cobblestone paths in East Asian parks; the mat brings that same underfoot texture indoors, onto a kitchen floor or under a standing desk.

Size is the choice most people get wrong. A compact 14-inch square is enough for a few minutes of standing while the kettle boils. The original 47-inch length lets you step forward and back and shift your weight from heel to toe. An extra long reflexology mat, around 69 inches, gives you room for a slow walking loop and suits taller users or anyone who wants a longer session without stepping off.

All three sizes roll up and store in a drawer. Start with thirty to sixty seconds barefoot, add time as your feet adjust, and ease off if a spot feels sharp rather than firm. This is a comfort product, not a medical device.
